Welcome! I am a doctoral candidate in the School of Natural Sciences at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). My research interests focus on the nexus between fire and large herbivores in savanna ecosystems and global relationship patterns. My thesis focuses on the relationships between fire, forage and large herbivores, both native and introduced, in the northern tropical savannas of Australia. My project is a joint partnership between University of Tasmania, Charles Darwin University (CDU), Bush Heritage Australia and Wunambal Gaambera Aboriginal Corporation (WGAC) and the Uunguu Rangers. My supervisory team includes Prof. David Bowman (UTAS), Dr. Brett Murphy (CDU), and Dr. Tom Vigilante (WGAC). The project is funded by Australian Research Council Grant-Linkage Projects No. LP150100025 (2015 – 2019) held by Bowman DMJS; Murphy B; Appleby M; Ritchie E; Vigilante T supported by Bush Heritage Australia and WGAC.
